Privacy policy
This page explains what data ParitrWallet stores, why, and what stays on your own device.
What we store
We keep the data required to operate an account and nothing beyond it:
- Your username, a password hash, your public address and public key.
- Your key vault - your private key, encrypted in your browser. We never see the plaintext key or your password.
- The nodes you connect: label, address and, if you provide one, the admin secret key.
- Standard web server logs, including your IP address, kept only as long as needed for operation and security.
Your keys
Your private key is generated in your browser and encrypted there with your password before it ever reaches the server. We therefore cannot access your funds, recover your password, or restore your wallet for you.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep automated sign-ups out, and load web fonts and icons from Google Fonts. Both providers receive your IP address when those resources load.
Data on the blockchain
Transactions are public and permanent by design. Addresses, amounts and timestamps are visible to anyone and cannot be deleted or altered - not by us, and not by you. Consider that before linking an address to your identity.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the account data we hold. Deleting your account removes it from our database; it has no effect on the blockchain itself. Contact us at the address in the imprint.
